The Mira police zone moved into the new main police station in Waregem at the end of 2020. RTS installed a new radio link network between the main site and all local police stations. This allows them to exchange data, video and telephony quickly and under their own management.

Camera network brings city into focus
In 2009, the first cameras appeared on the streets of Ronse and the nuisance visibly decreased. With the installation of the extensive network of 58 cameras, the city was a forerunner in the province of East Flanders. The police use the images to gather information about all kinds of incidents.
